The rock salt contained in the earth’s womb is diluted with water and the obtained salty solution undergoes pretreatment in view of separating the mechanicals admixtures and the diluted potassium and magnesium salts. The purified solution then is fed to the evaporating installation followed by centrifuging and the result is salt with moisture content not exceeding 3%. It is suitable for direct consumption, for cooking and adding salt to meals and salads and for use in salt shakers.
