“Promar” Ltd. is a company established in 1991 in Burgas, Bulgaria and its main business is import, processing and distribution of all kinds of salt for the foodstuffs industry, as well as for the technological processes. It meets about 70% of the country’s needs. The approximate quantity of imported and processed salt per year amounts to approximately 35 000 to 45 000 tons.
“Promar” Ltd. is a main importer of salt for the Bulgarian market since 1991. The principal producers we are working with are well-renowned companies from France, Tunisia, Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, etc. Our activity of processing and packing the salt is in full compliance with the requirements of the Bulgarian legislation – the company is registered by the Ministry of Health, by the Ministry of Economy on the grounds of art. 12, par. 4 of the Foodstuffs Act, as well as by the State Agency for Metrological and Technical Surveillance as a producer of pre-packed products.
The approximate number of company’s clients exceeds 500. Part of the larger and most regular clients of the company are the big commercial chains and industrial enterprises, well established on the Bulgarian market. After 20 years of operation in the field of salt production and processing and marketing it in the country, our company became a well known and eagerly sought trademark on this market. to our clients we offer salt of various kinds and various packing, in compliance with their needs and their demand.
